A class to introduce your child to art techniques which are the building blocks that will provide a solid foundation for future art lovers and artists. The children will explore the art world using oil pastels, pastel blending pencils, paint, paper and clay. The children will continue to touch on four instructional art topics which include three dimensional art forms, drawing and shapes, patterns and textiles and color. The class will also introduce them to famous artists and open their eyes to the fact that we are surrounded by beautiful art everywhere we look and travel.

Children learn to use the different Lego pieces including bricks, slopes, plates, wheels, hinges, and technic pieces as they design, engineer and discover inventive solutions
Lego building units may include animals, vehicles, space craft and ocean exploration
Team and individual projects tackle real life engineering challenges!
Children explore concepts in physics, architecture and mechanical engineering
Free build classes and Lego building challenges are scattered throughout the session
